Mary Prittie has received numerous awards for her work in many different media including oils, watercolours, batik, woodcut printing, mixed media and ink as well as various other types of drawing. Her work includes a broad range of subject matters: local landscapes, life drawing, animals, ships & bridges and orchards & florals.
Mary studied under many renowned artists including Tony Urquhuart, Gary Kennedy and Gordon Perrier. The artist’s work has been on exhibit at numerous galleries throughout Canada including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Beaverbrook Gallery, Rodman Hall Arts Center, and the Grimsby Public Art Gallery to name just a few.
